MATTHEW BALFOUR

Matthew Balfour is an actor, singer, and dancer based in the DMV area. His notable roles include; Bert Barfield and Tucker Yelldell U/S, TEXAS the Outdoor Musical (Texas Panhandle Heritage Foundation). Professor Bhaer, Little Women (University of Southern Maine). Uncle Henry and Toto Puppeteer, The Wizard of Oz (Maine State Music Theatre). Bill, The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals (OSHER SOM). The Three Merchants, The Three Little Pigs (Maine State Music Theatre). The Baker, Into The Woods (University of Southern Maine).

Matthew Balfour graduated from the University of Southern Maine in the Spring of 2025 with his Bachelor in Musical Theatre Vocal Performance. During his time there he took voice lessons from Mary Bastoni and additional coaching from Edward Reichert. Matthew also received additional lessons from Megan Marino during his time in university. Matthew also spent his time at USM training in various dance styles and techniques. He learned beginner ballet from Maria Tzianbos. He also learned jazz, tap, and musical theatre styles from Vanessa Beyland.
